    Hey Paul,

    Nice presentation last night. I’m really going to think about this Beta thing you are on the soapbox about. I used to actually like it (if used correctly) now I just might be swaying the other direction.

    Heh… You know, it’s tough to launch something when you know there are so many things you’d like to fix. Most of the time you’re the only one that sees those things.

    I believe that tagging “Beta” on a new thing, more often than not, deters people from making passionate comments and requests. Most would argue the opposite.

    If it’s not up to your standards, then keep it a secret until you can be proud… sans the “Beta” sicker. But by all means, get it done.

    I’m bummed to think I work in Seattle and didn’t hear about this event until after the fact. I’ll take this as a reminder to stay more aware of what’s going on in the area. I look forward to hearing how it went.
